Introducing Indian Block Prints: Cottage; our first collection of block prints created by artisans in India for Fableism Supply Co. The traditional Indian motifs were recolored for an updated reimagining of classic styles. The soft hand of the 100% cotton fabric has a vintage lived in look perfect for quilts (low fray!), home decor (hello curtains!), and apparel (dress please). Think grandma core meets cottage core.
Please Note: Due to the nature and process of traditionally block printed fabrics, block prints will experience a natural fade over time. The inks are color fast and will not bleed, but a slow fade is part of their beauty, charm, and lends to their unique vintage look.
General washing instructions: We recommend prewash all fabrics in the same manner intended for the final good in order to minimize unexpected shrinking. Otherwise it is always best to hand wash with mild, bleach-free detergent, and hang-dry fabrics for best results. If machine washing is your preferred method, we suggest washing in cold water with like colors on gentle cycle using a mild, bleach-free detergent. Dry on low-heat tumble setting to minimize shrinkage.
